Underground Feeder (UF) Wire
Underground feeder (UF) cable helps distribute power from buildings to outdoor fixtures like pumps, lighting, and equipment. This wire can also be used for irrigation applications and as a locating wire for underground utilities and assets.

KrisTech’s standard Underground Feeder (UF) wire is a stranded copper conductor insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This product is manufactured according to Underwriters Laboratory (UL) constructions for 600V and is suitable for use at a maximum continuous operating temperature of 60°C in wet and dry locations.

KrisTech’s UF wire meets the following standards and tests, including:
- ASTM B-1, B-3, and B-8
- UL 493
- NEC Article 339
- Conductors – Single conductors are available in solid or stranded and annealed or hardened uncoated copper configurations.
- Insulation – Conductors are insulated with a concentrically applied PVC (polyvinyl chloride).
Print legends on the wire include the manufacturer, conductor size, voltage rating, UL symbol (if applicable) and type designation. Standard length spools are 500 or 2,500 feet.
