Applications & Use Cases

Cathodic protection cable connects rectifiers to the protected structure in an impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) system.

Kynar^® and Halar^® insulation protect conductors in the cathodic protection system from dangerous gases that may cause weak connections, leading to corrosion.

Saltwater can be incredibly dangerous for cathodic protection systems. Conductors are double insulated with an inner layer of Kynar^® or Halar^® to resist chemical damage, while a thick outer layer of HMWPE creates a water and crush resistant barrier.
