Regional Inside Sales

This position is primarily responsible for developing and strengthening existing customer accounts while executing on day-to-day customer service to support the specific needs of each account in their regional territory. Additionally, they collaboratively work with the Regional Sales Team Member to capture new business. They are proactively both articulating and executing upon Kris-Tech’s value proposition of flexibility, responsiveness and excellent customer service in the market in order to support Kris-Tech’s strategic growth plan.

  1. Responsible for Existing Account Development (Approximately 80% of their time):
    • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing accounts while identifying, creating and capturing value within these accounts.
    • Increase awareness of the Kris-Tech brand and capabilities across divisions within an account.
    • Execution of prospecting for new opportunities with existing accounts:
      • Development of pre-call plans that define the purpose and goal of your call while capturing the customer needs and pertinent information to execute on the opportunity.
      • Making quality outbound calls to develop leads, qualify customer needs & gaps.
      • Build & leverage relationships to identify new opportunities that align with Kris-Tech.
      • Identify opportunities to get Kris-Tech specified as an approved manufacture on projects.
  1. Execution of day-to-day customer service to support the specific needs of each account while creating an excellent customer experience:
    • Develop and provide the customer with pricing that captures the value Kris-Tech is providing.
    • Perform customer follow-ups to quotes and opportunities.
    • Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness in everything we do for the customer while proactively providing them with needed information.
    • ID and drive solutions to resolve any customer issues (be their problem solver).
  2. Work collaboratively with the Regional Sales Team Member to accomplish initiatives aligned with new strategic accounts & relationships (Approximately 20% of their time).
    • Prospecting new targeted accounts through cold calls (performed via: phone calls / emails / etc).

 

Ideal candidate will exhibit the following skill sets:

  • Self-starter with a competitive drive and willingness to be resilient.
  • Passion for building relationships and networking with decision makers.
  • Ability to understand the purchasing process cycle in a variety of market segments.
  • Experience working within distribution or related industry (preferred).
  • Strong communicator; both written and verbal skills.
  • Creative and outside the box thinking.
  • Demonstrated leadership and change management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic cross functional team setting while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Power Point, Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
