This October is a special one for KrisTech Wire. In October, 1984, twin brothers Glenn and Gerry Brodock founded KrisTech in Rome, New York.
From the organization’s founding, Glenn and Gerry, along with Glenn’s son, Jon, were focused on continuous growth and improvement. Today, KrisTech is led by the third generation of Brodocks. Since Jon retired in 2014, his son Graham has led the organization and focused on KrisTech’s expansion and reach.
Since starting as a small regional wire mill in Rome, KrisTech has grown considerably over the last 35 years. In 2001, we opened a distribution center in Los Angeles that is the base of KrisTech’s West Coast office. In 2016, after outgrowing our original manufacturing plant, we built and moved into our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Rome.
Today, our insulated copper wire, from tracer wire to XHHW-2 to cathodic protection cable and others, can be found in construction projects throughout the United States.
Our growth is because of our people. Every day they show up and breathe our core values into their work through their actions, whether it is manufacturing our products, providing support to our processes, or delivering top-tier service to our customers.
