Meet Inessa Yusupov: July 2026 Employee of the Month
There’s a line in architectural design that goes, “form follows function.” Basically, it means the look of something shouldn’t overshadow its intended purpose.
We already know KrisTech has an impressive, clean, and functional manufacturing factory, but most of our customers will never see it. They don't see our lean initiatives, equipment investments, operational improvements, or the daily work that goes into delivering a great product.
Often, what our customers do get to see is our digital factory - the KT website. Great brands pair physical and digital excellence, combining colors, logos, visuals, ads, and more into a representation of their company’s products, values, and mission. Great brands make sure everything looks nice but also works.
Since our last website refresh in 2020, the company has evolved, requiring something that reflects where we are and where we aspire to go.
July’s Employee of the Month didn’t just set out with a vision; she drove the project from start to finish with consistently hard work and creativity. The result is a website that creates leads and curiosity.
We’re thrilled to announce that Creative Director Inessa Yusupov is this month’s Employee of the Month!
Telling KrisTech’s Story
Branding is more than making something look good; often, it’s a visual expression of who the organization is.
Since joining the team, Inessa’s role has been to develop a cohesive visual identity from everything the company does.
“We see Inessa’s immense talent in the graphics, presentations, signage, sweeping glass designs on the conference room exteriors, printed materials, and overall consistency of how KrisTech presents itself,” VP of Marketing Mike Zimm explained. “When we decided to redesign our website, Inessa saw an opportunity to improve the customer experience and standardize and elevate the visual identity of KrisTech's most important marketing asset.”
But KrisTech isn’t only telling its story to prospective customers. We must show why we’re the right fit for future team members too.
“When someone visits our website while considering a job opportunity, they're asking themselves about what we do, our values, and if they can see themselves here,” Zimm said. “Inessa significantly improved the user experience and information flow throughout the new website, while finding ways to weave our culture into the design. Our new Impact page is a great example. It helps communicate the community outreach and charitable work our CARES team has been doing with the values we're trying to live every day as an organization.
Strengthening the Moat
Great branding isn’t simply nice-to-have. In today’s business climate, it can give companies a critical competitive advantage. For KrisTech, it’s another way we build and strengthen our organizational moat.
Every page, image, and design tells KrisTech’s story, representing the best of what we do and who we are.
And it’s all thanks to Inessa!
Celebrating Our Nominees
Inessa is July’s Employee of the Month but was one of several nominees up for the award!
Shaun David, Warehouse Manager - Shaun is always looking for ways to boost responsiveness and move products, working closely with sales to find opportunities and improve inventory utilization.
His strong work ethic has helped him develop new skills, including how to mic wire and spot mislabeled materials — saving KrisTech and its customers unnecessary headaches. Additionally, Shaun has embraced KrisTech’s 5S Program, taking pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility.
Shaun is positive, humble, dedicated, loyal, and service-focused, doing everything to support his team, our customers, and the business. He leads by example, takes pride in his work, and consistently puts our team and customers first.
Jon Gifford, Sr. Manufacturing Engineer - Jon has become KrisTech’s version of the Oracle — if you have questions, he most likely has answers. No matter how busy he is, Jon makes time to answer questions, teach, and share his expansive knowledge with others.
This month, Jon was instrumental in improving KrisTech’s standard costing. By helping validate our production processes, routing times, material usage, and cost drivers, he is ensuring our standards accurately reflect how we manufacture products. This leads to more accurate inventories, fewer manufacturing variances, and stronger financial reporting.
Jon brings people together, leads by example, builds trusted relationships, and constantly helps others learn and grow. He exemplifies every one of KrisTech’s values.
