KrisTech Celebrates Summer with Remarkable Milestone
Another year, another unforgettable summer get-together for KrisTech’s incredible team!
Recently, team members from across the country flew and drove in for several days at our Rome, NY campus and manufacturing facility.
Whether they were presenting sales plans, coordinating events, or taking headshots, our team of rockstars took every opportunity to learn and grow together. Over the course of three days, the team looked back on a strong first half of 2026 and set its sights on finishing the year on a high note.
Over three days, sales team members in each region and national product line took time to share their successes, growth opportunities, and plans of attack for the back half of the year.
“Any time we can get the sales team together for a couple of days, it does wonders,” VP of Sales Joe Moore said. “Connecting the team in person, sharing success stories and challenges, and spending time off the road and with the greater KT team is a great opportunity to reset and head into the second half of the year energized!”
Lions, and Golfing, and Luaus… Oh My!
But, as usual, this event isn’t relegated to marathon meetings punctuated by dinner. Instead, the team was treated to a trio of community events curated by KrisTech’s fantastic Human Resources team, led by Director of Employee Engagement Wendy Calabrese.
“These events are more than just a chance to step away from work and have fun — they are a reflection of who we are as a company,” Calabrese said. “Building meaningful connections and celebrating our people has always been a core part of our culture. Our summer picnic is a tradition that brings us together, strengthens relationships across teams, and reminds us that our success starts with the incredible people who make KrisTech what it is every day.
We’re proud to be a family-focused company and seeing employees share this experience with their children and loved ones is incredibly meaningful. It gives our families a chance to see what makes KrisTech special and understand the great work we do and the community we’re a part of.”
Thursday featured a trip to the renowned Utica Zoo for an evening amongst the animals, accompanied by a scavenger hunt that spread the team across the zoo’s expansive facility. Friday night was a bit more competitive, as the team stopped by The Bunker for food and 18 holes of virtual golf at some of the area’s most prestigious courses.
And finally, the week culminated in KrisTech’s annual summer picnic, complete with food trucks, face painters, ice cream, craft brews, and even a hula hoop contest! But what made this year’s event extra special was the excitement of celebrating 10 years in our current home on Otis St. at the Griffiss Technology Park.
“Everyone here, each in their own small way, day after day, step after step, helps culminate in events like this and a company growing like this,” KrisTech President and CEO Graham Brodock said. “Being able to take this success back to our families every day; I’m grateful for that, I’m grateful for you, and I’m grateful for 42 years [as a company] and 10 years here at Griffiss Business Park.”
As part of KrisTech’s celebration, this year’s picnic theme was “Luau.” Team members were encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirts, spin the fan-favorite prize wheel, and take part in the highly anticipated hula hoop contest. This year’s winner earned their very own ukulele!
Counting Down to the Holidays
The thermometer might show temperatures in the mid-90s, but the team is already looking forward to KrisTech’s end-of-year festivities.
With only five months to go before the end of the year, it’s also the start of crunch time for every team in the company. Whether it’s the sales team closing new deals and developing stronger relationships with established partners or the production team finding ways to keep boosting productivity and reliability, the team is pulling in the same direction.
What does that mean for KrisTech and its incredible network of customers? For us, it means finding new ways to delight others — one trusted relationship at a time.
Like Frank Sinatra once crooned, “You ain’t seen nothing, yet. The best is yet to come!”
