Also known as copper utility wire or copper cable, copper tie wire helps secure conductors to pin insulators on a distribution pole. The wire’s durable HMWPE insulation surrounds the conductor and provides excellent moisture and abrasion resistance.

This wire is suitable for use in wet and dry locations up to 75°C. Bare copper tie wire is also available.

KrisTech’s copper tie wire meets the following standards and tests, including:

ASTM B-1 and B-3
ICEA S-95-658 / NEMA WC 70

Conductors – Single conductors are made from solid, uncoated copper.
Insulation – Copper conductors are insulated with a concentrically applied LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene). An optional HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is available on request.
