KrisTech’s pet fence wire is used for wiring invisible electronic pet containment fences for residential or commercial systems.

The high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE) insulated copper or copper-clad steel conductor is buried underground and connected to a transmitter. As pets wander outside of the designated safety zone, the animal is warned via their electronic collar.

Our HDPE insulation is rugged, durable, and direct burial rated, with excellent moisture, crush, oil, chemical, and abrasion resistance. It can also safely operate in wet or dry locations up to 75°C.

Our pet fence wire meets the following standards and tests, including

  • ASTM B-1, B-3, and B-8
  • UL 83
  • ICEA S-70-547 and ICEA S-95-658 / NEMA WC70

  • Conductors – Single conductors feature solid or stranded, annealed or hardened, and coated or uncoated copper configurations.
  • Insulation – Conductors are insulated with a concentrically applied HMWPE (high molecular weight polyethylene). LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) is standard, and HDPE (high density polyethylene) is available on request.

Print legends on the wire include the manufacturer, conductor size, voltage rating, UL symbol (if applicable) and type designation. Standard length spools are 500 or 2,500 feet.
