Meet Thomas Farrar: April 2025 Employee of the Month
Change might be inevitable, but consistency is key - especially if you're April's Employee of the Month.
This month's winner thrives in high-stress situations, showing up daily with a relentless "How can I help the team and KrisTech today?" attitude. Beyond their positive, team-first mentality, they're a constant sight on the production floor, keeping things moving smoothly, evenly, and - you guessed it - consistently.
Our award winner instinctively reacts when met with a challenge. Just as important, no job is too big thanks to their "whatever it takes" mindset. The result is a level of reliability that leaves a meaningful mark on everyone around them.
That's why KrisTech is thrilled to announce Team Lead Thomas Ferrar is our April 2025 Employee of the Month!
Jumping In Feet First
Thomas is making a difference, from respool to extrusion and everywhere in between. "He’s never afraid to roll up his sleeves and set the example," Director of Operations Larry Reed explained. "Because of this dedication, Thomas regularly receives shoutouts from his teammates for his support, leadership, and hands-on involvement. These actions were a key factor in his promotion to Respool Team Lead." But there's more to Thomas than being dependable and fast - he's the ultimate team player. "As we transitioned to our new ERP system, we faced the urgent need for all Extruders to be operational," Reed explained. "Thomas was asked to temporarily step away from his Team Lead duties to fill a critical gap on the production floor. He accepted without hesitation, bringing his trademark positive attitude and commitment to the challenge. He continues to excel in this role without missing a beat." Despite the changes, Thomas has never complained or slowed down. Instead, he has kept a steely-eyed focus on his job, showing his adaptability, professionalism, and humility.
More than Leadership
We hear a lot about "servant leadership" these days, but Thomas is putting it into practice. Thomas is a clear communicator who shows respect to everyone around him, using his knowledge and experience to educate and mentor both the respool and extrusion teams. "He responds to questions with clarity, follows up on order concerns, and contributes to building stronger, faster workflows," Reed said. "His deep knowledge and willingness to share it has been a major asset during this critical time of change." As a result, his reputation as a dependable and steady leader keeps growing.
