Meet Ken Barrett: November 2025 Employee of the Month

The best players on any sports team aren’t always the ones making big splash plays. Rather, they’re the ones who do the little things right every time. November’s Employee of the Month winner hasn’t been here all that long, but you wouldn’t know it from the impact they’ve had on KrisTech. Not only have they taken to their work like a duck to water, but they’ve embraced each of KT’s five core values: Commitment to Excellence, Learning and Growing, Building Trusted Relationships, Leading by Example, and Winning Together. And like Utah Jazz legend John Stockton, this month’s winner is a true team player who uses their positive attitude to keep morale high. This month, we’re thrilled to announce that Shipping Coordinator Ken Barrett is your November 2025 Employee of the Month!

Hitting the Ground Running

From day one, Ken has shown an unwavering dedication to getting orders out on time, ensuring our customers receive the level of service they expect and deserve. Oftentimes, that means keeping a watchful eye out for anything that could potentially happen to a product before it leaves the dock. “Ken’s attention to detail is exceptional,” VP of Operations Jeff Handley said. “He is consistently verifying the accuracy of each order and upholding the highest standards of quality. Additionally, Ken regularly goes above and beyond, not only meeting expectations but elevating the standards for everyone around him.” In less than a year, Ken has taken it upon himself to absorb as much knowledge as possible, making him a trusted resource for those around him. “His ability to learn and grow at such a rapid pace is a testament to his work ethic, adaptability, and drive for excellence,” Handley explained.

Building Bridges

Being good at your job is one thing; making everyone around you better is another. Luckily, Ken does both. “He’s built a strong and cohesive rapport with the team—one that reflects his own positive, can-do attitude,” Handley said. “He leads by example every day, creating an environment of trust, collaboration, and mutual support. His leadership helps the entire team perform at a higher level, embodying the spirit of winning together.” As a result, the production floor is firing on all cylinders, and the team is gelling in new ways.

We’re celebrating Ken for his achievements this month, but he was joined by several other fantastic nominees, including: Matt Stolo - Matt has taken on several new responsibilities with enthusiasm and dependability, showing a strong commitment to both personal growth and team success. His exceptional attention to detail has driven outstanding inventory accuracy, and he has been instrumental in embracing our ERP system—quickly learning its functions and helping others navigate it with confidence. Matt also played a key role in developing and implementing our new cycle count procedures. His thoughtful input, hands-on involvement, and willingness to refine processes have contributed directly to smoother operations and a stronger inventory control environment. He embodies the accountability, honesty, and community-minded spirit of the KrisTech Way, making him a standout choice for this recognition. David Albright - David shows exceptional leadership and commitment. His proactive ownership of our ISO initiatives has strengthened cross-departmental alignment, improved documentation discipline, and ensured we stay audit-ready. David’s steady guidance has helped the team better understand requirements, close gaps, and maintain the high standards we strive for. In addition, David has significantly impacted customer satisfaction through his weekly RMA reviews. His consistent follow-up, attention to detail, and drive to reduce open customer cases have meaningfully improved our response times and case resolution efficiency. David’s efforts not only enhance the customer experience but help streamline internal processes. And that’s it — we’ve filled out the roster of nominees for 2025’s Employee of the Year voting.
