Aluminum PV Wire

Description

Aluminum PV wire is a single conductor made of compact stranded 8000 Series aluminum alloy, then insulated with concentrically applied crosslinked polyethylene (XLP). It is direct burial rated, sunlight resistant, and can operate between -40°C and 90°C in wet conditions and 105°C in dry.

Application

This product is designed for interconnection in grounded and ungrounded Photovoltaic (PV) Solar applications rated up to 2kV.

Features

Sunlight resistant, FV-1 flame retardant, and oil and gasoline resistant. Direct burial rated and lighter than copper PV wiring.
