Meet Jack Cullop, Jr.: August 2026 Employee of the Month

There’s a big difference between doing something when asked and seeing what needs to get done, jumping in, and doing it. 

August’s Employee of the Month is a person of action, excelling as a standout contributor and bringing energy, ownership, and a commitment to excellence every day. This person makes our operation stronger each time they walk through the door, boasting an impressive 14 recognitions -- including several WIRE Awards -- along the way! And when times get tough, this month’s winner has repeatedly stepped up, delivered results, and shown what it means to live the KrisTech Way. 

If you haven’t guessed it by now, we’re proud to announce that Extrusion Floater Jack Cullop, Jr. is your August Employee of the Month! 

Never Standing Still 

Jack is more than just a great guy to be around; he’s a force on the production floor with an eye toward constant improvement. 

He’s also been an instrumental part of several large initiatives at KrisTech, including: 

• Jumping in and identifying tooling requirements for more than 50 high-volume wire configurations on the extrusion lines. His willingness to help dramatically accelerated the project timeline and moved an important initiative forward. 

• Showing flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to support the company by switching one of his scheduled days off to cover an extrusion line. 

• Caught a major compound mix-up that could have caused issues for customers and KrisTech. Jack’s quick thinking and attention to detail allowed the team to address the problem before it impacted production. 

• Reacted quickly to call out an issue on a printer that was running without a print code. His fast thinking and decisiveness prevented errors and kept the process safe, accurate, and under control. 

• Helped lead the creation of work instructions for mixers, giving operators clear references while troubleshooting. His experience directly translated into practical tools that helped the entire team improve. 

• Learned how to operate KrisTech’s wire stripping equipment to recover and reuse materials to complete a customer order. His initiative kept the order moving forward while reducing waste. 

A Wealth of Real-World Experience 

For everyone who has had the pleasure of working alongside Jack, it’s easy to see why he’s such a trusted, valued member of the KrisTech team. 

He’s the kind of person engineers love working with. When Jon needs support, insight, or troubleshooting help, Jack is a go-to person because of his experience, practical understanding, and willingness to drop everything to help. 

But his contributions stretch beyond any project or accomplishment. He supports major initiatives, protects quality, responds quickly to production issues, builds helpful resources for the team, and finds creative ways to keep orders moving. Just as important, he brings a positive attitude and a willingness to help others that strengthen the operation around him. Jack sets the example through action, and his impact is felt across the team. 

Jack is a fantastic person to be around and work with, and he’s a powerful example of the accountability culture we strive for every day!
