SIS Wire

Scope:

Our dual-rated XHHW/SIS wire consists of a single Class K-stranded conductor made of tin-coated copper. Its VW-1 rating makes it suitable for switchboards, control panels, automobile factories, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other industrial applications.

Conductors:

Single conductors are available in solid or stranded and annealed or hardened configurations. Tin coated copper conductors are standard in SIS constructions.

Identification and Packaging:

Print legends on the wire include the manufacturer, conductor size, voltage rating, UL symbol (if applicable) and type designation. Standard length spools are 500 or 2500 feet.
