As most of us know, nothing is ever easy at first.
No one rides a bike perfectly right off the bat. Long division? Nope. Even our first steps are a clumsy series of trials and errors.
But then, suddenly, something clicks. The strides become easier, numbers make more sense, and pedals feel like a familiar friend.
KrisTech has seen significant changes over the past year, resulting in many new processes and procedures. While everyone has had to adapt and grow, March’s Employee of the Month seized the opportunity, using their experience to rise to the occasion. Not only did this person approach the initial ERP launch with no reservations, they quickly embraced the system, using it to improve everyone’s life at KrisTech.
We’re thrilled to announce that Scheduler and Planner Scott Beckwith is March’s Employee of the Month!
When KrisTech’s ERP system first launched, there was a steep learning curve for everyone. While it would have been easy for folks to start kicking and screaming, Scott chose to dive in and trust the process.
“Scott took on one of the most challenging transitions in the organization with the implementation of our new ERP system,” VP of Finance Bob Pagano said. “Scheduling under this system requires a high level of discipline and coordination across the entire value stream—through sales, supply chain, and operations. It demands precise data entry and strict adherence to process at every stage, including draw, twist, extrusion, respool, and shipping.
Throughout this transition, Scott has not only learned the system but has truly embraced it. He has done an exceptional job finding process gaps, correcting errors, and reinforcing the importance of doing things the right way. Rather than resisting change, Scott kept an open mindset—recognizing that the system is working as designed and that it was up to us to follow the process and improve how we operate within it.”
Scott’s early adoption and meticulous attention to detail are paying dividends today.
Going into 2026, cleaning up master planning was our team’s number one priority. Scott took the lead and worked tirelessly to fix issues and gain a full understanding of the system and why production orders are created. After a couple of months, we have gone from a system with hundreds of created lines and many questions to zero questionable lines and complete trust.
“It’s worth noting that Scott’s role was arguably the most impacted by the ERP implementation,” Pagano explained. “Despite that, he remained steady, positive, and solution-oriented, often putting in extra time—including the occasional late night—to ensure success. I want to thank him personally for his hard work and dedication.”
Scott hoists the copper wire trophy for March, but he was one of several worthy contenders for Employee of the Month. Other nominees included:
Larry Russell, Respool – One of Larry’s greatest strengths is his dedication to developing others. He trains new employees with patience, clarity, and a genuine “win together” attitude that helps them feel welcomed, supported, and confident in their roles. His mentorship not only strengthens the team today but builds a solid foundation for the future.
Larry is also widely respected for his collaborative approach. He regularly supports other departments, building strong working relationships through reliability, clear communication, and a solution‑focused mindset. Whether partnering to resolve challenges or assisting during peak workloads, Larry consistently proves himself to be a team player who values shared success.
Kaley Newport, Email Marketing Specialist – Kaley has been instrumental in successfully leading one of our largest marketing initiatives in recent memory: migrating us from one marketing platform to another. Working closely with IT and an outside vendor partner, she led the four-month transition from start to finish. This new system significantly enhances our ability to deliver a more personalized, data-driven customer experience. Furthermore, rather than slowing down, she has pushed forward, continuously refining and improving the platform.
Kaley consistently delivers strong results, with excellent open rates, click-through rates, and overall campaign performance. She is highly responsive, eager to take on new challenges, and embodies our commitment to continuous improvement.
It’s hard to believe, but we’ve already added three nominees to the roster for KrisTech’s 2026 Employee of the Year award!
Join us at the end of April to find out who joins Scott, Kylie, and Darrin as a KrisTech Employee of the Month winner!
