KrisTech offers a comprehensive line of wire and cable products engineered for performance and reliability across every application.
RWU90 is a single-conductor wire insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). This wire is direct burial rated and used for underground service applications and outdoor power projects, including general wiring for lighting, power distribution, feeders, and low-leakage circuits.
Feature Quick View:
CSA RWU90 wire is a single-conductor wire designed for outdoor power projects. This wire is safe for underground and above-ground service entrances, and meets Canadian Electrical Codes standards, including CSA C22.2.
This product is available in several configurations, including solid or stranded, annealed or hardened, and tin-coated or uncoated bare copper. Concentrically applied crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) is used to insulate the conductor, making it “Oil and Gas Resistant I” rated. Black insulation is Sunlight-Resistant rated. This wire is rated to perform in temperatures ranging from -40°C TO 90°C in wet or dry locations.
If substituting colored insulation, sizes #6 AWG and larger are sunlight resistant and optional for sizes #8 AWG and smaller.
